Hope Light — Original Oil Painting

Hope Light is a sunlit stream leading through trees. The light and color give it a hopeful feeling, with red-orange, violet, deep green, reflective peach carrying much of the mood. It can bring atmosphere into a room without making the space feel busy. The smaller shifts in light, color, and distance give the image more to discover over time.

From Nathan: What interested me most in this painting was the light. I wanted red-orange and the surrounding colors to work together naturally, while keeping the scene hopeful and full of atmosphere. I like leaving enough room in a painting for the viewer to bring some of their own memories and feelings to it.
