Dreams and Light — Original Oil Painting

Dreams and Light is a misty field with trees, stream and bright filtered sun. The light and color give it a dreamlike feeling, with gold, cream, muted green, gray-violet carrying much of the mood. From Nathan: What interested me most in this painting was the light. I wanted gold and the surrounding colors to work together naturally, while keeping the scene dreamlike and full of atmosphere. I like leaving enough room in a painting for the viewer to bring some of their own memories and feelings to it.
